The alarm went off!

It was a good thing that the exit alarm went off! Candice is a special child. She is normally not left alone, especially since they live in a low-rise building. But because her mom wasn’t feeling well that time and had to go to the bathroom for a while, Candice managed to sneak out of their door.

She went to the fire exit and well, the exit alarm went off. It was the sound that alerted her mother and a neighbor who’s about to go into the elevator. Good thing all the fire exits have alarms or else Candice might have fell down the stairs without anyone noticing.
