Comments offI can’t imagine myself living all alone without any family or relatives that I can turn to. One of my friends has been living that way for a long time. I know it’s lonely and she just convinces herself that it’s what she wants, anyway. She is an only child but her mom would treat her like she’s not her own. Her dad has gone MIA on her one time too many so she isn’t looking for him anymore. He already has his own family.
I am happy that she found a man who will marry her and his family is excited to welcome her. It’s sad that she’ll be living in another continent by then but I am really happy to see her happy. It’s what she’s always wanted, a family of her own.
Although another friend and I are worried at times that the guy is stringing her along, there are indications also that he’s serious about her. I am praying that he really is serious in their relationship and in his promises to marry her. Otherwise, I don’t know what will happen to my friend. She’ll most likely go crazy. I don’t want that to happen to her.
