An old woman

When I grow old, I pray that I have enough resources I can tap into so that I won’t be asking for help from others. There is this old woman who kept on asking for money and other things from a family. Sure, they’re related but sometimes, the family just feels like she’s just asking for too much.

When I grow old, I pray that I have my own place so that I won’t be a burden to my love ones. The old woman has a place to live in but she’s living with the families of her sons and her daughter. I know it’s hard for her to be asking for her basic needs all the time and to be living with everyone but then she didn’t prepare for her old age.

I pray that it won’t happen to me. Please.
