I read from my favorite preacher Bro. Bo Sanchez that we need to fail. I do think so, too. We need to fail to be able to determine our own strengths.

I failed several times in the past. In my career. I stumbled and fell and stood up again and again. And you know what? Each and every time I failed, in all those times, I realized how strong I am. I realized that my family loves me and that not all the relatives I was close to I could trust. I also realized that I only have a handful of true friends around. All those people who were there for me during those times are the ones I still have around me now. I treasure all of them.

We need to fail. So that we will realize that there is Someone up there who will pick us up when we’re down. That’s one of the things I realized, too. I learned to pray hard. I learned to say thanks for each and every little blessing I receive. Even for the new challenges, too. This is the best lesson I learned from the first failure of my life, and all the others thereafter.

I am afraid of failing once more. But I know it’s part of life and will happen again. Who knows when? If it does, I know I have my family, good friends, and my God to turn to. And they will pick me up just like before.
