She’s out of a job right now, a few weeks ago resigning from the company she’s been with for more than three years. Burnt out from work, stressed from too much rumor-mongering of her co-workers. All part of the work environment, I told her.
After their vacation, she’ll be back to find a job. She needs it. She’s got to pay the bills and eat. I don’t think she’ll get money out of vacationing.
I remember I was once in between jobs for four months and I learned my lesson from it. You can give yourself false hope by telling yourself you can easily get another job. The truth is, with twenty of you vying for the same position, I don’t think it will be that easy snagging that job, don’t you think?
