A number of my mom’s cousins are into the arts. Engineers, architects, fine arts major, and so on. They all know how to do cad drawing and measure lines and what-nots. Meanwhile, my mom took up Economics and was a housewife for the rest of her short life.

I just feel like there were times when they looked down on my mom for not being a professional. Or maybe it’s just me. Maybe it’s because I don’t like some of my mom’s relatives and I tend to see them in a negative light.
