Savings account

A friend of my father came over to sell motorhome to us. Unfortunately for him, we don’t have excess funds right now to buy anything unless it’s absolutely necessary.

I’ve been saving. Not only for the holidays but I am putting my foot down on having a savings account. A proper and real one. Because I do have a savings account. But I hardly keep funds in it. Paychecks would just pass through my hands (or savings account) and will be spent right away. I don’t want to find myself in dire straits just like in the past. I think it’s time I put a stop to that, right?
