My sister gave the little girl a pair of earrings. Not the fancy ones but the real one. She really saved for it. But after a week, we noticed the little girl’s not wearing it anymore. When we asked her mom, we were told that she kept it because the little girl might lose it. We just shrugged it off, thinking that she valued what my sister gave that’s why. But a year later, we saw the little girl’s sister wearing it. It would have been okay with us but just the fact that she kept it without letting the little girl wear it again…
Suffice it to say that now, everything that we give the little girl, we keep at home for her to wear when we go out.
